Children's Classes
Our fine arts classes for children (6-11 years) focus on teaching the fundamentals of painting and drawing in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment. Taught in English by the studio owner, a native American speaker with over 15 years of experience teaching art to children. Using a variety of materials such as acrylic paint, pastels, watercolors and more, we immerse ourselves in artistic elements such as lines, shapes and perspectives, or themes such as animals and landscapes, helping children discover and develop their artistic talents.

Our guided painting classes are designed for all skill levels, and you’ll never feel pressured. We only use top-quality materials, including professional-grade paint and high-end brushes, along with real canvases (not canvas panels). Our instructors are skilled artists and exceptional teachers, ensuring you have a great experience.
For over 8 years, Arte Bar has been dedicated to providing a unique, high-quality experience that creates lasting memories. Add to that unlimited wine, snacks, great music, and you’ve got an art-filled experience like no other.
In addition to learning how to paint one of our beautiful custom created paintings, our classes give you the opportunity to unwind, make new memories, have fun, enjoy a drink or two, and listen to great music. Our instructors will guide you step by step, teaching you tips and techniques—from color mixing and blending to shading, highlights, and composition—so you can follow along as much as you’d like. We encourage everyone to create their own version of the painting. At the end of class, you’ll take home your own painting in a bag that we provide.

Fine Art Classes for Kids (Ages 6-11)
Our Fine Art classes for kids focus on teaching the fundamentals of painting and drawing in a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. (Classes are taught in English by the studio owner, a native English speaker from the U.S. with over 15 years of experience teaching painting and drawing to children and 25 years of experience teaching art overall.)
We use a variety of materials, including acrylic paint, pastels, colored pencils, watercolors, charcoal, conté, pen and ink, and mixed media, to spark curiosity and encourage exploration. Each month, we dive into an artistic element—such as line, shape, value, color, and perspective—or a theme like animals, people, or landscapes.
Taught in English, these classes give Spanish-speaking children a fantastic opportunity to learn art while improving their English skills—a perfect combination for creativity and language development.
Whether your child is discovering art for the first time or looking to develop their skills, our Fine Art classes for kids offer the perfect space to nurture their talents and explore the world of art.

An amazing, fun and highly recommended experience! Don't worry if you're not good at painting, the teachers are lovely and they explain step by step how to paint your painting. Of course, you do not have to follow their instructions to the letter, you have complete freedom to do what you want. In our case, Mariana and Yoel treated us great, they were super attentive and advised us at all times. During the class, they bring out some snacks.
